We headed up to Mt. Baker on Monday to have a family snow day. It actually was more like a family snow hour, but hey, that's OK. Luna loves the idea of snow, but isn't a huge fan of the real deal. We figured out finally that the snow wasn't what she disliked as much as the sledding, so on our next trip we'll try less sled time and more play time. Dad had a great time sledding though, even if Luna didn't.

Notice Luna with her mittens over her eyes |
The snow was a bit deep. Luna kept saying "I'm stuck!" |
Mommy heading down solo |
Daddy taking one of several runs by himself |
Luna liked making & throwing snow balls |
Luna did not even want to be dragged back to the car in the sled....note the covered eyes again |
One last snow ball |

That sounds startlingly like our first snowshoe trip with Elsa. We hiked about 50 yards. Maybe.
