Easter Egg Hunt

Luna, Grace & I headed down to Oma & Grandpa's house in Anacortes on Saturday to check out Skyline's Easter Egg Hunt.  We almost missed the festivities due to someone having a 2 1/2 year old moment.  It was a good thing we were a little late to the hunt because it was an absolute free-for-all.  Luna was able to score a few eggs with the help of her Grandpa, Oma and a really nice dad who gave up a few eggs for her find.  The best part was that Grandpa re-hid the eggs when we got home and Luna got to go on her own personal Easter Egg Hunt in the courtyard.  Grammy joined us for the repeated Egg Hunt and a delicious pre-Easter dinner.  Next year Luna will have to watch out for Gracie - I have a feeling she will be all over the hunting for eggs with her big sister!

Napping Big Girl Style

Gracie took her first nap in the crib today.  Not that I'm trying to rush things, but I didn't want her getting too comfortable in her bassinet in our bedroom.  Is there anything wrong with that?

Just hanging out

We have had a great few weeks at home adjusting to life with Grace.  Luna is loving being a big sister and we are enjoying "family time".  Here's a few random pics from life at home with the girls.

Luna has spent lots of time in the garden with Dad.  Here she is checking things out with her spotting scope (just like Diego!)

We Love Visitors!

We have had many visitors to meet Grace and to provide yummy dinners for the family.  I'm sorry I did not get pictures of everyone, but here are a few of the folks that have stopped by over the last couple of weeks.

Uncle Brian came out from Toronto to check out our latest addition
Uncle Bob made more than one delicious dinner for us
Susan came by while visiting from Maine.  Luna was so excited to see her!
Karrie also came by to see Luna!  What a bonus!

Rowan and Luna made a fort in Luna's closet

Rebecca & Carter both got to meet Grace and served up a wonderful quiche for dinner

Sarena was the perfect playmate for Luna; they even served us lunch!

Auntie Steph & Uncle Ken came up for a visit and took us out to lunch.  Luna was very excited to see them!

Beth & Ella brought over dessert and then we took a trip to the park.  Ella decided to take us on a bus trip to Mallards

Easter Egg Decorating

Uncle Bob had Luna & Sarah over to decorate Easter Eggs this week.  Luna is new to this Easter Egg business but wasted no time adding stickers and glitter to her eggs, then proceeding to eat them.  The biggest hit of the night, though, was the orange colored bubbles that Uncle Bob gave Luna in her Easter basket.  Thank goodness kids are washable!

Luna only wanted to decorate the pink eggs.  Pink is her new favorite, by the way.

First Bath!

Gracie got her first bath at home this week.  She was not too thrilled with the process, but I'm sure she will soon be loving the water time.  Check out the crazy amounts of hair this girl has!  I still can't believe she was born with such a full head of hair (that appears so curly when wet).
