October!

It was a busy month that included a big move to a new house! We're at 606 W. Illinois, a whole 3 houses down from where we were before. Here is a little of what we were up to...

Kite Flying Birthday!

To celebrate Luna turning 4 she decided to have a kite flying birthday party.  We all gathered at Zuanich Park on an amazing Bellingham Saturday afternoon.  All the kiddos got kites (although we made the parents assemble them....sorry!) and ran around the park trying to get them aloft.  In all 19 kiddos showed up to help Luna celebrate!  We had a GREAT time and thank all of you that came out to fly kits.
Luna's friend Maya was one of the first to get her kite up

Happy Birthday Luna!

Believe it or not Luna has turned 4!  Seriously?!  I can't believe we have had 4 fabulous years with this spunky, funny, silly, happy, dancing, singing girl (and been "blogging" about it more or less that entire time).  Brian & I woke Luna up to a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday then popped in her new Casper Babypants CD (Luna is a HUGE fan).  We got the girls dressed then headed down to Rocket Donuts for breakfast.  After school we hopped on our bikes and headed downtown for birthday dinner at La Fiamma with Grammy & Oma.  What a great day to celebrate our big girl!  Happy Birthday my Moon Girl!

Fashionista

Gracie found the new Prana catalog that came in the mail today.  I assumed she would just start tearing it up,  but instead she sat down at the picnic table and started flipping through the pages pointing out different items.  Girls got some good taste, I guess!

I like that one!

More Beluga Time

As our final summer hurrah we decided to head up North of the border to Uncle Brian & Uncle Raj's house.  We have been so excited to have them back on the West Coast and sneak up to visit as often as we can.  It's always fun to see them (and Ms. Roxy, of course) and gives us an opportunity to stop in at the Vancouver Aquarium and visit the belugas and other fun sea critters.

Luna graced us with a pre-dinner dance on Friday evening

Snacks and a movie.  How spoiled am I?

Practicing our Penguin looks

Luna got a special hand painted tatoo!

It's a penguin!

We saw the dophin show for the first time on this visit.  Wow!  We will definitly not miss this on any of our future trips!

A stop at one of the many Stanley Park playgrounds after our aquarium visit.  Gracie is a fan of the dirt for sure.
