Luna's 1st Christmas

Despite the uncharacteristic Christmas snow, we were able to celebrate Luna's first Christmas with the Larson family. Unfortunately Grammy (Brian's mom) couldn't join us this year, but we hope she will be able to in the future . Christmas Eve we travelled down to Redmond for an early dinner with Uncle Ken, Auntie Steph and Grandma, then back up to Anacortes to spend the night. Patrick and Emily were able to join us on both days and Luna loved seeing them. Obviously Luna had little concept as to what was going on with gift giving, but she loved being around her family and getting LOTS of attention! Happy Holidays to all of our friends and family both near and far. We hope you have had as much to be thankful for this year as we have.

'Twas the Week Before Christmas

Despite all the snow on the ground, we were busy the week before Christmas. It was a little too cold to get outside much, so we made due indoors. Here are a few of the things we were up to:

Luna testing out her new "high chair". It definitely tasted good!
Uncle Brian came over for coffee and waffles
Floor time
Talk to the hand

Maya came over to play

Luna wasn't much of a host... she fell asleep in the middle of play time

LL Cool M

Luna's good friend, Marcus, came over for dinner the other night. Luna was treated to a stellar show including a little Pure Prairie League (Amy, What you gonna do?) and some Qtip. Check it out for yourself!

Just Can't Get Enough

I have been wanting to post these for weeks. Thank goodness for Snow Days!! Will I be thinking that in June? Our wonderful and talented friend, Lauren G. McClanahan, is reponsible for these precious photos. We hope enjoy them as much as we do. Thanks, Lauren.

Another Holiday Tradition

A few years ago the Larson clan started a new tradition of heading to La Conner to watch the lighted boat parade. From the warm comfort of heated hotel rooms along the water, we watch the boats head up and down the channel. Munching on Auntie Steph's famous Nuts & Bolts we ooh and ahh over the different displays. This year we were treated to some snow as part of our visit to La Conner! Luna got all bundled up and enjoyed watching the lights and hanging out with Uncle Ken, Auntie Steph, Oma, Grandpa and Great-Grandma Larson.
