Luna got to hang out with her cousins Nolan & Kenedee last week. I had a great time catching up with their awesome momma, Kristen and the kids were busy climbing, sliding and hiding on play equipment.

Trivia

Part of summer fun in Bellingham has included heading down to Boundary Bay for Sunday night trivia. After a slow start (we were 3rd to last our first week), Team "Yo Momma" shot up to 3rd place overall in week two. Nothing like sitting outside with good friends, food & beverages and trying to rack your brains for some seriously outrageous trivia.

Happy Birthday Ms. Maya

Luna got to help celebrate her friend Maya's 2nd birthday last weekend. Maya had a fabulous birthday party with a wading pool, bubbles, popsicles, cupcakes and fence "painting". Luna had a great time and hopes that Maya is enjoying being 2!

Happy Birthday Uncle Ken

Last week we headed down to Redmond to celebrate Uncle Ken's birthday. We had a great time hanging out in the backyard, playing football & Luna even got to run through the sprinklers! Luna loved singing Happy Birthday and has continued to sing "Happy Birthday" to Uncle Ken at least once a day.

Luna's first haircut

Luna's "mullett" has finally grown long enough in the front for a haircut! I wasn't sure how Luna would take to someone trying to cut her hair so we tagged along with her buddy Norah so Luna could see how a big girl gets her hair cut. Luna did a great job (a bit on the serious side, actually) and Norah was a huge help modeling how to sit in the chair and stay still. I will get a good "before" and "after" shot up here soon... the cut turned out really cute.

Summer has arrived!

Summertime is finally here...it's in the 80's in Bellingham! To celebrate, Luna started swimming lessons this week at the local outdoor pool. To say she is loving it would be an understatement. Sorry these pictures aren't great; I'll try to get some better ones by the end of the week.
