On Gracie's actual birthday we headed out to Mallard's to celebrate with some friends for ice cream. Ella, Rowan and Sage all joined us downtown for some ice cream. Gracie discovered the fabulous Raspberry ice at Mallard's and became an instant fan. It's hard to believe that our little baby is already a year! We have enjoyed getting to know her this year and I am so excited for the upcoming year. Gracie has such a sweet personality, with a definite sensitive side. While she may not be walking quite yet, Grace is starting to form words. She can very clearly say "No!" usually directed at Gus (with a pointing finger). She also says "Momma" and "Nuna". It seems like new words are coming quickly and she does a great job mimicking our voices. She's going to have her work cut out for her to get a word in edgewise with her older sister!

Gracie's Birthday & Easter
With Spring Break winding down, we celebrated Easter & Gracie's first birthday on Sunday. With Luna old enough to play along, the Larson family egg hunt tradition was rekindled this year! My dad & Uncle Ken hid over 30 eggs in our tiny backyard! To add to the fun of the "hunt" we invited over Luna's buddies Marcus and Jada to join in the fun. The kids had a blast and we enjoyed watching them search all over for the eggs (then go crazy with the candy they found). We had fantastic spring weather and enjoyed spending the afternoon outside with Gracies birthday strawberry shortcake.

Farmer's Market is Open
Our local Farmer's Market opened today and we biked down to check it out and pick up our weekly produce. What a gorgeous day to kick off the market season! We enjoyed walking around listening to music, smelling flowers and people watching. Oh yeah, and Luna insisted on wearing her Tigger ears and tail. Awesome!

Spring is here!
It is finally spring in the 'ham! After a bike ride with Dad, the girls hung out for the afternoon in the backyard during snack time. Gracie is definitely on the move and wants to be able to do anything her big sister can do! Oh yeah, and she likes to climb too...
