School's Out for Summer!

Whew! We made it... school's out and we are starting to unwind. Brian's sister Sarah is visiting from Florida and Luna is loving hanging out with her Auntie. Since Sarah's arrival Luna has begun to crawl in earnest and pull herself up in a standing position whenever possible (this frequently is happening in her crib instead of nap time or bed time). With Luna's new found mobility, life as we know it is now over.

To celebrate summer's arrival, Father's day, school ending and Sarah's visit we had a few friends over for a BBQ and pinata party. Here are some pictures from our summer kick-off event!

Sunset Cruise

Last weekend we joined my parents on sunset cruise out of Anacortes. We lucked out with amazing weather and had a great time out on the water. Luna was a hit with passengers old and young alike and made many friends over the couple hours we were on the boat.

We bought Luna a little wading pool that she tested out last week. The water was freezing cold (it was straight out of the hose) and not very deep, but our little water-lover didn't let that stop her from having a good time. Sorry for the bare-butt shots, Luna will probably kill me someday for posting these on the web, but they are so dang cute!

Luna has continued to keep us entertained with her new milestones and emerging personality. She definitely is a mover and doesn't sit still for one minute - whether its during a feeding, diaper change, or right before bed. Here are some random picks from the beginning of June...

Patio Par-tay!

Some good friends of ours debuted their fabulous new patio over Memorial Day weekend. We had a fantastic time hanging out with friends, enjoying the unseasonably gorgeous weather. Luna loved all the kids playing and entertaining her with their crazy antics. Of course we didn't end up with any pictures of the great new patio, just the girl.
