Backyard Fun

It's the backyard time of year!  Even if the weather isn't fabulous, the girls are headed outside at any chance they get.  Here are some recent photos of the girls cruising around the yard (even in their pajamas).

We met up with Hugo & Aunt Emily at the Tulip fields in Mount Vernon and after checking out the flowers, headed to the park.  Luna, Gracie & Hugo loved climbing on and through everything and of course swinging!  So fun to get the kids together....

Happy Birthday Gracie!

On Gracie's actual birthday we headed out to Mallard's to celebrate with some friends for ice cream.  Ella, Rowan and Sage all joined us downtown for some ice cream.  Gracie discovered the fabulous Raspberry ice at Mallard's and became an instant fan.  It's hard to believe that our little baby is already a year! We have enjoyed getting to know her this year and I am so excited for the upcoming year.  Gracie has such a sweet personality, with a definite sensitive side.  While she may not be walking quite yet, Grace is starting to form words.  She can very clearly say "No!" usually directed at Gus (with a pointing finger).  She also says "Momma" and "Nuna".  It seems like new words are coming quickly and she does a great job mimicking our voices. She's going to have her work cut out for her to get a word in edgewise with her older sister!
